I was nervous about this course because of some reviews, but it was really easy, and I got to learn a lot of things never mentioned in high school history classes. The tutorial pdf is a life saver during the milestones, too.

It is a lot of information! But I feel like I have a much better understanding of our American history now. This course should definitely make you think about the direction this country is going now and how it resembles the past. Only negative for me was that it was very much an independent study. There is recordings of someone reading the text on each tutorial, but I found it easier to read myself.

Majority of questions in this course don't seem to have a direct correlation with the readings and text provided. Found myself having to look at additional sources to answer some questions.

I enjoyed this course, but took great offense to 'black slaves' being referred to as African American, considering they were not even given or offered citizenship, they had no Rights. History should not be rewritten just to be politically correct.
