A fantastic, simple, straightforward, and informative class!
by Kaitlyn B. on March 14, 2017
It was a good introduction course. I finished it in about 2 weeks. Could use some improvement with the way the Challenges and Milestones are written.
by Kaitlyn B. on March 13, 2017
Very informative. This course had a lot of information but the challenges and Milestones were very straightforward. I thought the material was presented in a way that made it enjoyable to learn.
by James R. on February 28, 2017
First of all, I am not much an art guy so this course was very tedious. Secondly, like many many many other people have already said the format of the quiz questions is very difficult. Many questions have 3 or more parts and if you get one part wrong the entire question is wrong. I felt the instructors and videos were long, the quantity of content very large, and the entire thing boring. I passed and now have credits to transfer into my college at 20% of the cost.
by Lisa J. on February 26, 2017
This course is hard but the tutorials are very great. Do well in units 1-5 because 6 is the hardest. I asked for help by email and the response was fast (next morning) and insightful.
by Cyrus S. on February 26, 2017
This class was very good for being an online program where there is not a professor who you can talk to or ask questions. My only complaint is that occasionally there are misleading questions on tests and the practice milestones could vary greatly from the milestones.
by Justin S. on February 23, 2017
Struggled alot towards the end of the course. Along with teaching concepts, you need a way to actually walk the student through the problems their doing.
Sophia replied on February 23, 2017

Justin - congratulations on your successful course completion! We agree that often students need more than just the teaching of concepts. That's why we supplement the instruction with our team of Learning Coaches. Students in Introduction to Statistics also have access to 24x7 "on demand" tutoring via the "Access a Tutor" button in the course. Both of these resources are designed to help ensure students understand the concepts and how to approach the questions/problems.

More problems with answers would be beneficial to solidify the concepts
